ISLAMOPHOBIA CAMPAIGN
Islamophobia, the fear or prejudice against the religion of Islam, affects millions of people in the United States. With an estimated 4.5 million Muslims living in the country based on the 2020 religion census. Recent polling shows that about 34% of U.S. adults say there is “a lot of discrimination” against Muslims today. This hypothetical campaign, built around the theme “Different Religion, Same Heart,” emphasizes that the emotions we feel—our joys and our tears—are universal, regardless of belief. The campaign concept includes posters and a short film addressing Islamophobia, designed to raise awareness and encourage empathy and understanding toward Muslim communities.
